We break down badly in our forward line so we need to play proven goal kickers. Needs to work on his defensive side which after half time I thought was quiet good, a work in progress for me.
I would TDL where he is and persevere with him cause I think it is worth the gamble and one game alone is not enough. I agree with the above post (quoted) that he needs at least three or four games in the seniors. Jessie certainly had his fair share so let TDL work into it.

I watched Jed play juniors for Yarram for about 8 years. He played in the same comp as Blair, McCaffer,Golby and Vardy and IMO was better than all 3. I was very excited when we drafted him and hope he gets on the park soon. He's a gun.

So Macca, if not a late withdrawal, will be in for Mal. I expect everything else to be the same except maybe Parker for Bevan/Mez. It's been suggested Luke maybe starting to hit a wall and they don't like to burn out 1st year players who show signs of waivering. To me he looks like he can handle it so happy to keep him in.

They might also be looking at Hanna's knock as well, even if he is little tough nut.

Maybe Seaby for LRT, he tore the tigers a new one last time. Otherwise why else would he be named?

Longmire throws some light on the Malceski situation:

Longmire said Malceski had done well to come back from his knee injury so quickly and he hoped a short stint in the reserves would help him regain confidence and form.

?He?s had a couple of groin issues ? and he has lacked a bit of confidence so we were keen for Mal to have a good hitout in the reserves and get back in the seniors soon,?? Longmire said.

Naming Seaby in the squad is interesting. I know the Tigers dont have a lot going in in the tall dpartment, but you'd think would be all the more reason why we wouldn't need another one in our side, Mumford and LRT should smash their opponents in the ruck. . Having Three talls Could work i suppose, it could fail miserably as well, and it could just be a little bit of food for thought from Horse to Hardwick.

It Could also be a chance for Seaby to impress what may be his new team next year. Maybe this is all a genius ploy to get the best trade possible for Seaby ?

How the @@@@ is Mal meant to gain any confidence if he plays less than a quarter in back to back games??!!!

                    And what's Kennelly's excuse?

The Tigers have included 3 talls on the long interchange list so let's see what they do. Do they go for speed or height or a bit of both. The talls are McGuane, Morton & Miller, I would have thought Luke McGuane would be a walk up.

As backup for Mumford, like he is most weeks?

Tadhg has been a wonderful player for us & I have always been a fan but he is nearing the end I think.

Horse said that Mal has had some groin problems in the last couple of weeks. Take that as you will but I don't think Mal's dropping is completely form related.

Utterly baffled at the dropping of Mal.

The IC is: Paul Bevan, Tadhg Kennelly, Brett Meredith, Craig Bird, Mark Seaby, Trent Dennis-Lane, Luke Parker

With McVeigh in for Mal, it's possible they could make no further change, going with Kennelly, Bird, TDL and Parker.

Bird is surely safe, but there's room to move with the other three.

Meredith needs a go to see if we can keep him, he was originally picked up as someone with good disposal ( if so he could be lonely at the G Sunday)...he got in and held his spot until he broke his arm and has never had a real run since...I thinks there's a good footballer in there.
