                  I'm not sure I'd describe Nick Smith as "nuggety".
                  I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
                  We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

                      Nice piece. Why we watch, and stay Bloods.
                      He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

                          Considering almost everything else he has written is west australian, then this is a coming out of large proportions.

                          Anyway, its a very R&Wer article. We have already said most of this at some time or other. Nice to have someone else on board. And, a journalist at that!!!
