Geez, if Nipper doesn't get a game while in this form it will be a crying shame. It's taken so long for him to find a position where he can actually stand out and take a game by the scruff of the neck, but he's truly found his position. Just looked so dominant last week, and by the sounds of it is once again unstoppable. Definite AFL potential.

Complete domination thus far. Swans better in every aspect of game, particularly desire for ball and overall intensity. To be fair, I suspect Lions have far more topples playing than we do. Nipper and TDL have put on a marking clinic in blustery conditions but their finishing hasn't been quite as good. Best half of footy Eugene has played this year. His tackling has been great and he's been composed with ball in hand. Pyke started a little rusting it really started using his size to good advantage in second quarter.

Totally dominant display by the reserves. The tackling and pressure has been first class.

Tadgh is doing okay and getting involved. Not dominant by any stretch but at least he's getting some football

Pyke has been good around the ground but disappointing when moved forward. Seaby on the other hand has been okay with limited opportunities forward.

Nipper and TDL have been too classy for the Lions defence. Both ate working hard at the contests as well which is great to see.

Bevo has been hard at it as per usual and his disposal had been pretty good.

All in all a good team effort in the first half. Only complacency will stop the scoreline getting embarrassing.
