    Swans email with Spangher photo

It doesn't show the full photo on the website, well I couldn't see it but for those that got the email with the full photo of Spangher and the background.

What the hell is that sitting in the front row behind the fence?

That's Yabba (I think his name is) and he apparently was a constant at the cricket way back when and constantly gave the umpires a gobful. Something like that anyway.

I remember reading somewhere that a few viewers picked up the sight of Yabba in the crowd once on TV and they thought that it was a ghost!!! : )

During a Swans game he is usually adorned with a hat and scarf. Its a brilliant likeness though.

Can any of our boffins rig him up with a loudspeaker?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Hard to sneak one into the game, yd need something with a bit of volume, as I heard it, Yabba didn't need one
