Well unless your on the carlton selection committee who knows....I dont think it will happen either but I wouldnt be surprised. Why risk judd, murphy, gibbs, betts etc in a meaningless game where they could easily get injured? They are all class players and who knows it may be beneficial for someone like judd for eg to have that longer break coming into a final.

They've just had a break. Ratten would be stupid to give any fit player a two week break before a final unless they were carrying an injury. I just cant see Carlton taking this easy as defeat would mean 2 straight losses to top 8 teams in 3 weeks. Whether they can actually win is another story, but it won't be because they see it as a nothing game.
