Enjoyed the game and win but let me just say, White is plain out weak at times. Had so many opportunities to present or provide his body into contests. Just pathetic.

Jesse White has a heart the size of a pea. In 20 years of watching the Swans he is the most infuriating, weak, useless piece of lard I've ever seen. 93 points scored and he' contributed not a solitary point. Cant and wont tackle. Refuses to chase. Cant take a mark. Pathetic. Get Rid.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

there was one that stood out as piss weak, but since he came back in i thought his attack on the ball and his opponent has been much improved. Not to mention the improvement in the quality of his ruckwork.Theres not much left to sayComment

I was happy enough with the performance. Its been a massive week for the team. The Lions had a decent crack before heading off for the Summer break. The conditions were a bit cold and windy. They accounted for a team in reasonable form after a big
away game.
It may well be another away game next week."He was proud of us when we won and he was still proud of us when we lost' Tami Roos about Paul Sept 06.Comment

We are a much, much better side structurally with White in it.
He must play, and if we are to win a few finals, he needs to bag a few goals, but there is no way I'd drop him.
White is a pretty good 2nd ruck. Much better than LRT... And probably a better forward too.Comment

His ruck work was OK but live at the game, he had many opportunites to provide a target or throw his body into a contest. I, as was everyone in my area (including normal Jesse supporters) were very annoyed at him.Comment

I was at the game and sit behind the Swans bench, I assure you the guy busted a gut for is tonight with his ruckwork and the coaching staff on the bench appreciated it. He was clearly buggered late in the game and the runner went to check on him, White stayed in the ruck and Mummy got to rest.16 hitouts as a backup.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

I thought it was a good solid win. Sure, it didn't have the emotion of some other recent games but guys did what they needed to do against a not-too-bad team.
It was odd watching the forward line without Reid. How quickly we've become used to his presence. White was a little disappointing up forward compared to the last two weeks, but not terribly so, Spangher was great at times, Rohan certainly added something to the forward line, and Goodes was, well, Goodes. The play was a little sloppy at times, but at other times I thought we moved the ball really well through the middle of the ground and looked pretty quick.Comment

We got the job done with flashes of great play (How good was Rohan's goal?) and moments of cumquat plays. During the game I was frustrated with some our football but a 9 goal win against an opponent who has been competitive this year and clearly had a red hot go is nothing to be sneezed at.
The criticism of Jesse on here is a little puzzling. From my vantage point he worked his butt off. Sometimes those watching on the Television don't see some of the effort put in...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

The disappointment was Jetta - absolutely zero impact as a sub - no chase no run to space no tacklesComment

Did he play full forward?? How many times did he go to the goal square?? He rucked and played up the ground for the most part.. Not saying he was brilliant by any stretch but look at the role he's asked to play and then ask yourself did he do what was asked. Not entirely sure the coaches would be too upset with his efforts...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. At one point he got the ball with acres in front of him and just stopped and then delivered a poor kick. He's severely lacking in confidence at the moment. Wouldn't imagine he'd play finals based on that...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style.
