MMM said he would have polled votes in last 5 of 6 games before today. He would have had to have received 3 votes today.

So will finish strongly in the voting.

There was the interesting stat in the Footy record today that said no Swan had polled votes in R24 come Brownlow. Think we might finally break that one this year.

There's only been 3 Round 24's played. First was in 1991 apparently. This was our first win in Rd24.

Ys it should be an interesting count. Judd will carry a lot of votes from early in the season, Goodes from the end, if Adam picked up a few early on he might be a chance, I think Jude may have taken a few votes off him thru th early part of the year

Judd doesnt look right atm. Goodes looks as fit as hes ever been.
Would love the man to win another Brownlow.

I don't watch every game, but I'm pretty sure Judd will have 7 or 8 BOGs. What's the average Brownlow winner? 24? From Memory the 3 way tie was 21, wasn't it?

Really fun way to waste a couple of hours here... http://www.phantombrownlowmedal.com.au/matches ...they are suggesting Judd has a MINIMUM of 28 votes and up to 35 (same for Mitchell).

I put $10 on him at $21 in May- figured it never hurts to back Goodes, given he does tend to get votes even when playing poorly. Was in 2007 or 2008 when he had a really poor start to the season, yet managed to get votes in quite a few games.

In the umpies minds, Judd NEVER has a non vote game, didn't you see the count last year?
I'm hoping they were so embarrassed by giving that eye gouging turd a second medal that they are judging him much harsher this year.
I would be furious if he won a third!

Judd may be up for a sling tackle, won't go anywhere but....

Really comes down to how many votes he can get in the first 10 or so weeks of the comp. He was very consistent during that time and playing well but not at the insanely high level he's been playing at over the last month.

I think he is very likely to get votes in the following rounds:
                          Round 2 vs Essendon
                          Round 3 vs WCE
                          Round 11 vs Brisbane
                          Round 19 vs Bulldogs
                          Round 20 vs Essendon
                          Round 22 vs St.Kilda
                          Round 23 vs Geelong
                          Round 24 vs Brisbane

Games in bold are almost certain 2/3 vote games IMO.

Then I think he is definitely a chance in:
                          Round 7 vs Western Bulldogs
                          Round 8 vs Port
                          Round 16 vs GC

Ah k thanks for clearing that up. I was thinking it was a bit odd when I read it. Good to see us breakthrough.

The most obvious 3 votes of the lot is the Essendon game. If he doesn't get the 3 there, I'll throw something through my computer in Europe.

Still think Judd has this in the bag, providing he doesn't get suspended for the sling tackle.

I'm not sure he will get over the umpires lovechild Judd to win the medal, but I think he nailed on for a top 5 finish. Has been superb over the last 8 weeks or so, and his fine form really gives me hope that we can do some serious damage in September - especially considering if we make it a 2nd week final will be his 300th, which will have the rest of the team absolutely up for it. He is certainly going to go down as one of our greats and a great of the game.
