I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

            My bad.

All joking aside, poor Reg, Glandular Fever is a nightmare to recover from, hope he has a quick recovery

What on earth is wrong with Mal? I would have thought if he were fit, he'd be in the best 22.

The main problem with glandular fever is once you have contracted it, it stays in your system forever. But as others have said already, everyone acts differently with the virus. In the case of my brother, he got it when he was 17 and now 20 years later he still suffers from the symptoms every now and then. For Reg's case, hope he's in the group that can live with it without having the symptoms pop up regularly.

On League Teams they are sure Gardiner will come in late. He could match Mummy in size and strength.

They thought Mummy was the key and Sydney would win.

Channel 10 sports news just said we have Brad Reid coming into the side, along with his mate Robert Thompson.
Superman still wears Brett Kirk Pyjamas

The AFL has received second week of finals.

So either Swans or Saints will play the following Friday night at the MCG.

If Wet Toast lose, they host a home final on the Saturday otherwise it's at the MCG if Mugpies lose.

I would have prefered Bruce Reid to knock a few over with his bouncers and Daly Thompson to pole vault over the forward press!

All of them except Parko & BT

I'm worried about not having Grundy in our backline considering they have Kosi and Sooky up forward, but will be good to see LRT back home in the backline.

The defence can manage if the mids do their job.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I'm worried about Grundy as well but LRT is a more than apt replacement, and we needed him in the team anyway just in case they played tall. I'm really hanging out to see how Goodes goes. Whether them worrying to much about Goodesy frees up other players or not will be interesting. I really hope Goodes runs riot and runs guys all across the ground.
