I'm resigned to a stressful heartstopping chestclutching TVshouty affair in which I drive everyone else out of the room with my very vocal anxiety. 1-9 point victory for the Swans, of course. Pulling ahead at the very very end after nearly killing their entire fan base.Comment

Swannies to win by 10-19 after a tough tight contested game of footy. We need to kick straight and take our chances, and hope Super Ted can do a job again on Riewoldt (I am confident he can). If we control the game like we did at ANZ a couple of weeks back, we will beat them. Only Tuesday but already pumped for the game - come on Bloods!"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

No one there will mind vocal anxiety.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

It's finals time, I can't do these polls anymore. Anything can happen, week to week.Comment

I am finding it impossible to pick a winner in this game, the Swans and St Kilda are so evenly matched thanks to the Lyon factor, even though we have a poor record against the Saints at Etihad I don't think this will be a factor in this game somehow. True, overall we haven't been as well performed in 2011 as in 2010, but we look fitter than we were at this stage of the year last season (the youngsters are another year older) and with our best/most important players hitting form at the right time (Mumford, Goodes) you have to say we are a great chance of advancing. But in recent times it's been rare for 7th to beat 6th, remember the Hawks also fancied their chances of beating Freo at Subi last year, and they were probably the one team that everyone else in the finals wanted to avoid.

AFL Insider said the Saints are favoured on Saturday night because it is at Etihad and their winning stats are with them. Lynchy did say that it will depend on Goodes.
I'm hoping that last Saturday's night win against carlton gives them a false impression. Kreuzer went out early, the Saints played the two ruckman who should be more competitive this time against Mummy.
Reiwoldt was ineffective with his knee injury and how he plays next week is anyone's guess. So I'm hoping we can kick straight and repeat the ANZ result. They didn't have Kosi but we didn't have Rohan. In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.Comment

I was away for a while and only saw the Gold Coast game tonight. I had to stop watching as we were butchering the ball - kicks over team mates' heads, sloppy possessions and not fussed if we kicked behinds instead of goals. It's hard to see the same team there as the one that took on the Cats and the Lions. If you are looking for the form team in the comp, it's the Swans. In our favour - we'll be playing in dry conditions. Against? There may be an emotional letdown after the last few hard weeks. I've tipped us to win by two goals or so.Comment

I've been wrong too many times this year so in that vein. Saints by 50..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
