Cats v Hawks major injury news

With 5 minutes left to go, Franklin came down awkwardly and was helped limping off the field. The news from the rooms is that it could be either an ACL or broken tibia.

Makes it more significant that the winner tomorrow night may go through to the Preliminary Final.

If it is an ACL then that would be 2 done in the game as Menzell did his just before half time.

I said the loser tonight can't win the comp and with that possible injury it means the Hawks have no chance.

They didn't show the game live on Foxtel either tonight. I thought because it would be on at 8:30 pm on 7. Nope. Fortunately it was live on Mate.

Also, both st kilda this week and hawthorn next week may be without first choice ruckmen. Mummy may be VERY important for our chances these finals.

Add Hodge and Bailey to that list. . Seems fairly certain that tomorrow nights winner will go through to the Prelim.

Jordan Lewis also a chance to come under scrutiny for that bump on Selwood. Should give some serious hope to both sides tomorrow night. Can't wait.

Had to pop out and upgrade my set top box to HD today, when I realised this was the only way to get finals live in Sydney.
