Hopefully Sam's calf is not the issue.
Fingers crossed for Gazza's knee and hopefully a quick

Great win, especially with the Saints at 1.40 favourites and 80% of the pundits picking them. In many ways the game was a repeat of three weeks ago, when the Swans ran over the top in the last quarter. But oh no, this was at Etihad where the Saints hadn't lost on a Saturday night for eight years . For crying out loud.

Anyway, brilliant efforts by Goodes, Mummo, Shaw and ROK. Smith just sensational on Milne, Teddy was good on Reiwoldt.

Loved Mummy's pack mark. Also loved how Spanger patted his head as they both lay on the ground.

Our talls will stretch the Hawks next week.

Bloody wonderful! Am so glad I flew down to Melbourne to watch that. Great experience for the young players, tremendous confidence boost for the team, brilliant to end the Saint's season and slam their premiership window shut. I may have missed most of this season as I was overseas but since I coming back I have loved what I have seen of this team.

Was anyone else thinking of the 2005 prelim during the last quarter? The Saints won the third term and looked like they might overrun us in the last. Then Swans kicking all the goals (until Dal Santo's consolation goal 2 minutes before the end) and ROK BOG.

The only difference was Schneider not getting a kick.

Was too nervous to watch game so relied on RWO to find out how we were going. Would like comments on Jesse White and Jarrad please!

What did Lewis do that he is or may be reported?

Yes, that is pretty pathetic !! Its ok to hate the umpires or the opposition, but never our team. They are running their guts out and throwing their bodies on the line out there, and even the most biased commentators admit that the Swans never give up.

What a win, what a game!! Amazing!!!!

Teddy is a legend. Glad Plugger46 isn't in charge.

Nick Smth should be All Australian.

                        Goodes is a genius.

The Spang has something. Whatever it is, I like it.

                        ROK kicked straight finally.

                        I'm in a happy place.

I hope Dennis Cometti enjoys the Saints/Hawks clash next week. Should be a cracker.

Funny reading back over the Q3 comments. Ye of little faith!

I thought that was a great win. Expected the Saints to come back hard in the third after their awful first half, but we held on and then scored where it mattered. Hopefully not at too much cost; some sore and tired boys out there at the end.

Highlight for me: Smith on Milne, absolutely bloody brilliant.

All I have to say is: suck that up, Melbourne pundits!

I don't really hate them just get frustrated and hate the mistakes, I know they never give up.

At the last moment thought I'd have a chance at being socially presentable, rather than my usual screaming self during a Finals match when it's best for all I stay sequestered in my dacha, & went to the Dry Dock in Balmain to watch the game. Found a few sturdy stalwarts & we had a good time.

Maaaaaan, Smooch and Gopher and Goodesy and Duckbutt? I was whooping up a mighty loud time! ... sorry if the adrenalin/booze mix renders me incoherent.

I worry about our injury hints - but if we can recover well, I think (if we keep playing as we have of late) the Hawks will be in trouble (if they're the next on our list - gawds know I can barely ever make sense of the finals shhhhhhhedule .....)
