    Semi-Final 2 - Hawthorn vs Sydney

Well, there's no doubt there's a genuine buzz around the club now.

Which is probably just as well, because this week, we're up against Hawthorn at the MCG, where our record has been quite poor for several years. The Hawks were also responsible for our biggest loss of the season, in Round 9 at the SCG, and in any case, history suggests the home team for the semi-finals almost always goes through to the preliminary final.

But whether Buddy Franklin plays or not, I've no doubt we're going to win this week.

The match will be an historic milestone for Adam Goodes - his 300th in the red and white, a first for any Swans player, and achieved more quickly than anyone else.

Considering all he's done for us over the years, does anyone seriously believe the team are going to let him down by not turning up to play?

Rain, hail or whatever, we're going to win. Count on it!

I'm blaming you if we lose, but I do love your passion.

              Didn't Micky O play more than 300?

                Yes he did.

When I think of milestones I think of Brett Kirk in Freo and still get mad. I hope the boys have enough incentive to win it regardless of Goodes total games.
                Swans in a close one.

Anyone game to tip 6 points, with a goal in the final seconds.

                      Swans by 25.
We will be leading at the end of the first quarter by around 1 goal.
At half time we will be out to about 5-6 goals.
In the third the Hawks will fight back and we will be in front by 4 goals.
In the final quarter Hawks will get to within a goal and then successive goals from Parker, Rohan, Goodes and White will give us the win. Woohoo!

Swans by 13 points. It is going to be very tough, but if we play 4 good quarters of footy, we are good enough to win, especially against a battered Dawks lineup. Come on Bloods, do it for Goodesy!

Hopefully our tall forwards in Reid, White and Spangher, plus Goodes pushing forward from the midfield, will exploit there lack of big defenders. Plus with Mumford hopefully dominating the ruck, if Bailey is out with a calf strain, we will hopefully get the better of them in the midfield which will be the key to winning, especially if Buddy is out.
