Who kicked the massive torpedo from a kick-in in the 4th quarter that went past half way?

Not entirely sure but think maybe it was Everitt.

Lousy, lifeless performance by the reserves this afternoon. Losing Bulldog early to what looked like an ankle injury didn't help but it is hard to believe he'd have made that much difference. Heath was also finished well before the end, escorted off the ground in a lot of pain. Was concerned for a while that he might have sustained another knee injury but was seen watching the final quarter in the stands with both knees free from encumbrance.

Credit to Ainslee. They played very well, all 25 of them.

What a miserable weekend of results it has been. Thanks for your updates. Al. Sounds as if you worked harder than the players.

I got started on the 2 1/2 hour trip home a bit early. Hope that was okay.

                          Everitt.

The only "highlight" from a useless afternoon from him. Still he had plenty of mates today.

What an extremely disappointing afternoon. We did not have one winner across the park all day. Pyke,Murphy and Nipper tried hard but didn't have their usual affect on the game. There isn't a lot I can say for the rest. It was though once Bulldog went off all the fight went out of them and they never regained it.

Playing poorly is one thing and Ainslie thoroughly deserve their victory but the umpiring was so diabolically one sided you almost had to laugh at it. They couldn't bounce the ball with double digit number of recalls. One time the ump got so sick of recalling it so he found a free against us instead.

Positive was it was a lovely day, i got some km into the car and the nephew got away from his evil brothers for the day. So not all was lost.

My brother-in-law called me from the ground at 3/4 time. Now he is no fan of the Swans but he said the umpiring was outrageously one-sided.
Shame the boys couldn't finish off a strong season with a win.
