    the next few years

I think the next few years will be our premiership window before goodes loses his match changing physicallity and for most of our key players such as mumford, mcglynn and kennedy to become more experienced. I also think next year will be a much better year to spectate footy with foxtel now making all games live, including the finals. We also get Tom Mitchell, a great young player that without major injuries could be a great mid for us in the not too distant future. I am happy that we exceeded my expectations for this year, considering the retirements of bolts and braddy, our best backman and our best forward. Now for carlton to lose, brownlow to goodes and the premiership to the west coast(only worthy team left) that would be a good end of the footy year for me.

And then the draft and the minidraft, sydney better be trying for o'meara/grundy.

I am going to look forward in the improvement of our younger players, as there is a lot to like about them. In my opinion our immediate future is looking very bright.

The future is bright indeed but we must make significant progress on this season. We are still a couple of players short of genuinely challenging but well on the way. I'm sad tonight but very encouraged by our young'uns and the very bright future we have.

Need Reid to builk up for next year n put his kicking boots on.

No doubt that with a fully fit bradshaw in the last two years we would have atleast made 1 prelim, possibly 2.

We're going to have a very young team for the next few years, which means an inconsistant side.

Kick straight and ignore milestone games and we'll do much much better.

Well we're there now and improving so someone else can drop out.

Can't agreed. I sense an upward trend for Sydney which began at the end of 2009. If Goodes is still playing well,a flag in 2013 is a real prospect.

That's my biggest positive to this year - we have basically rebuilt a list in a year without losing ladder position. It may yet take a few years but the talent in this team is enormous ... Consistency will come but the foundations are there.

Not really. We've made the last two semis losing just Kirk Bolton and Kennelly (Bradshaw didn't do much. Intact they were all struggling to get a game in the end)
Players like hanneberry, smith, Kennedy, Mumford, bird, etc will all be approaching 70 games by seasons end.

Reid, Rohan, Johnson, parker with another preseason under their belts. Addition of Tom mitchel.
                            Jack back to his best.

And the senior core of goodes, Bolton, okeefe, lrt, richards, grundy, matner, shaw, mcveigh etc all still there.

Really with the exception of Geelong, hawks and pies we will have a much more experienced team than the rest of the comp.
