A key part of a Premiership ... enough said.
A flash off half back ...
Now is the time to retire and go in to full time media
Thanks for the Premiership - forever thankful -
Thanks Tadhg for a wonderful career, you were one of the first Swans I've followed from the start now to the end. I will never forget the dashing runs from defence as well as the spontaneous jig on the GF dais.
PS. Nice of you to finally break the goal drought, only took you 5 years!Comment

To 'the only premiership winning' Irishman. Gonna miss him - have had much enjoyment watching him play. Our hearts travelled with him on his spiritual quest at home and then he returned to us. We were very lucky to have him and he is a special player who will be missed.Comment

Always takes a little time to tune the ear into Tadgh speaking (well, for me anyway)!

Almost slipped under the radar with the retirements of Bolton, Kirk, Barry O'loughlin etc in the last couple of years but in his prime he was arguably our most important player. We were a totally different team when he was playingAdam Goodes: Rising Star 99, Brownlow 2003, 2006

Spot on. Very easy to underestimate how crucial he was to the golden era. And he remains the only AFL player to ever do a deliberate header. A true original with his own little barstool down in one corner of the Red and White Pantheon. May the road rise up to meet you Mr Kennelly. My opinion is objective truth in its purest formComment

Farewell to our Premiership winning Irishman. A great servant of the club, and kudos to him for all the great moments he provided us over the years. A superb career Tadhg - well done!"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Jumping Pat Flash?
A fine player, an entertainer and an example of hard work and application to a dream. Farewell Tadhg and thank you.He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

One of my favorite Swans ever. Not only because you were a wonderful player but you were also a brilliant bloke. I've told this story before but because you took the time to make my nephew feel special at his first game is the moment he became a Swan for life.
Farewell mate, you will be missed...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

All the best Tadgh. You were the springboard for many attacks in the Swans halcyon days and a worthy contributor to the end despite many injuries. Hope you find one of those cushy, Latte sipping media jobs that you were talking about! We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!Comment

Good onya Tadgh ... a true star, one of the great sporting stories, I hope they do a film.
And I hope you stitch up that media deal ... probably have to be with SBS though!
PS - Thought of you and it made me feel OK that the Wallabies got beat by Ireland yesterday!Comment
