    Any Chance of the Players

I know i may be dreaming but is it just me or would others like the players to give them something more than showing there backs as they walk off the ground after a loss..case in question was last night they simply ignored there fans who all season support them..

Give them a break will ya? How would you feel losing that game? I'd be wanting to slash up, not hang around and socialise

I think it's totally understandable that they walk off. For some it was their last game, a loss that they will probably remember for the rest if their lives. Others probably weren't proud of the way they lost (I personally am still proud of them, but I'd imagine they'd be down after a 6 goal defeat). I understand that when your season is over like that you just want to hide away for a while.

They show appreciation a lot, at numerous times throughout the year, runnning clinics and social days, hanging around after wins when they are exhausted, but not feeling crushed like after a season ending defeat.
Without them we wouldnt have a club to support. Without us they would still have a club, sponsorship dollars would be harder to come by, but the club as an entity could easily exist. I'm not saying we're not importent, but the world doesn't always revolve around the fans.

if the players ran over and thanked the fans and showed one sign they were not disapointed the threads would melt down with complaints. Some people just like complaining.

I want to go on record as complaining about the people who complain about my beloved Swans.

                          Looks like it's just you.

Personally I think it would look kinda silly making them walk off the field backwards so they don't have their backs to the fans, but what would I know...

I can't think of any team playing us who lost who have gone and thanked their fans for turning up. the celebrations are for the victors, not the losers. Especially at finals time. When you have a big bloke like Jesse in tears, .... I mean, they are human - not super human. No, I wouldn't want them to come over and clap me. Its like I would be celebrating them losing the game. ick.
