Sheeds @ GWS is enticing some retired players to resurrect their careers as playing coaches to help mentor the young kids.
I was wondering whether it was feasible for a Swan who retires or is delisted, but wants to stay working in the Sydney area and could still play a bit at a lower level (eg Fosdike, Luff etc stayed working in Sydney and played footy in the Sydney league)... are they able to be listed with the Swans reserves side to play with our younger players to help them develop and teach them? Not too many, as top-up players are are potential recruiting targets & we need to see them in action. But having that added former senior experience might help our younger players develop & mature?
