    Jed Lamb

Earlier in the year, Micky O gave him a huge wrap and was even proud to say that he told the club to get the kid because he liked what he had seen.

Haven't heard too much more since.

On Friday night on the way home, a caller to MMM asked what the swans 2012 looked like, and Gary Lyon mentioned a few players, but also stated that he hadn't seen much of the youngsters. However, he also singled out Jed Lamb, saying that he has freakish skills and looks to be a potential gun player.

Now, having read Big Al's comments about him, I wonder how soon we'll see him next year.

If he gets a good run injury-wise, he could play plenty of football next year. I wasn't overly impressed when I saw him up forward early in the year, but he was simply magnificent in the midfield when I saw him. Brilliant around the clearances, but in a more outside fashion that the senior team needs more of. VERY good user of the ball as well. He plays quicker than he runs as well; he's not super quick across the ground but he has a knack for maximising the distance between himself and his opponents.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Unfortunately he was injured at the end of April and didn't play again until the last two reserves games of the regular season. Hopefully we'll get to see a bit of him next year.

When does Season 2012 start! Can't wait! I'm officially on the lamb chops and gravy train. A nice pre-season injury free and he'll be a treat to see next year in the Seniors.

The kid is just so, so talented- fantastic skills and a footballer's brain.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I haven't been this excited about a youngster in a Swans jersey for a long time. Simply because I have always liked skillful and aggressive players and Jed ticks both those boxes.

I'm so looking forward to watching him next year.

The Jed Lamb bandwagon gets bigger by the day. If the Ressies watchers are on the money then that is pretty impressive drafting last year. Johnson, Parker, Lamb.

Like most R&W fans, i can't wait for him to burst into the seniors. If he is half as good as the hype I'll be insanely pleased. The class of 2010 is looking promising.

Once again the magoo stalkers have it over southern supporters as you get to see into the future. Tell us more about Chops, please? I need to be encouraged in the off season.
