If we trademark it , does that mean no one else can play that way??

Yep- but it's shaky legal grounds. We've put a trademark on our first half performance in the SF, for example. It will be an interesting test to see if any of the teams playing in the PFs this weekend actively try to copy it.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

If "trademark" footy means only turning up for one quarter, I don't like it.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

It was one of those days today, so to help me handle the fact that I had a pile of ironing that HAD to be handled, I chose a 2003 game against Essendon (featuring the wonderful Teddy, the idiots they should have given him a proper go, it was all there). Apparently Hall, Leo and Stuey were playing trademark footy even then.

No point folks. Its the way it is.
