Walking from my uncle's house in Toorak to the MCG. What a day.

Dry wretching and trying to hide it from the mob. Red and white food wine and lollies in redandwhite tissue twists. Half time mud cake with redandwhite Swans logo icing.

Second or third last row in the half completed Olympic/Northern Stand, watching Dame Edna and her carry-on, wishing the hell he'd/she'd just piss off and get the game on the go....

Level 2 behind the goals at the "Oh my god Luke what have you done" end.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Embracing my son in the stand, alternately weeping and whooping. Then singing Cheer Cheer on the train, followed by a joyful conversation over pizza with an old mate of Bob Pratt jnr in Clarendon St South Melbourne.

Exactly 6 years ago? I was probably on a tram leaving the MCG, thinking, did we really win the damn thing??

Throwing my then 6 yo son up in the air over and over then driving to a post GF barbie in Perth with the Swannie scarf out the window. Didn`t see many WC supporters but saw quite a few Swannies staggering around.
                        Even Santa follows the Swannies.

Probably at Punt Road Oval by now, hugging and kissing people, only some of whom I knew.

Heading out to dinner at a chinese restaurant in Hawthorn to celebrate with Leigh Colbert and others.
He did a lap of honour pre game, as a retiring player, and was rooting for the Swannies.
Needless to say it was a great night, and a big night.
