    Ben Reid's GF

Can only hope Ben Reid's market value has dropped after Tomahawke's demolition of him today, that the Maggies faithful turn on him, blaming him for the GF result - if they lose - and that Ben tries to escape the football fishbowl of Melbourne, seeking a trade to join Sam ... who in the meantime will be telling his brother how well the Swans are looking after him. Oh and their Uncle John pipes in with some reminiscing about his time in Sydney ....

    I can only hope ....

I like the way you think, maybe Steele Sidebottom and few others who miss their coach will follow him up north. Also glad Tomahawk is wrapped up with us already too.

I think today's performance ensures that Hawkins remains with the Cats. Jesse is a better kick at goal.

Reid would have had to have played with an injury today.

As much as it would be nice for him to join Sammy, there would be more chance Sammy joining him.

Why? The pies are done, dusted, stick a fork in 'em etc.

Sam wouldn't deflect to that sinking ship if they paid him twice as much.

I'll put my hand up as somebody who is to be served a portion of humble pie. He had a terrific finals series, kudos.

As for Reid, clearly injured and in hindsight should not have played. I doubt his stocks dropped much from that effort, un-injured during the year showed his true worth to claim his AA gig...
