    Mike Sheahans TOP 50

Mike has Mummy at 27, JPK at 26, and Goodsy at 14. Does this mean Mummy and JPK are now officially "A Graders"? Maybe JPK deserves a pay rise !!

I nearly threw up when I saw the first photo (#50) There should be warnings when something as grotesque as that is shown.

JPK has the adoration of a lot of female fans. I'd take a pay cut to get that sort of attention so he's paid enough in my view.

He'd be unaccustomed to being in such a big lineup.

They normally only go with 5 or 6 and the actual guilty one is rarely on either end...

I think Mummy should have been in the top 20, clearly best ruckman in the comp if you ask me, has better 2nd efforts than any big man..JPK about right..
I thought Hannes might have been in 45-50 posi, but may make next years, better than alot after #35..
But Goodsey should ahve been in top 10, why Mike never rates him high in the ilk of Judd & Co bewilders me

I accidently clicked on the pre-season gallery, and wondered why everyone was being so harsh on Jack...

I am surprised (well not really) that Ted didn't make it. He had a much better year than say, Bock at 36.

Enright and Glass ahead of Goodes?? I don't think so. Sam Fisher = the most over rated player in the competition

I like Mike Sheahan. He is one of the all time great footy journalist. And a nice man to boot, (met him in 2009 at the first Hall of Fame dinner).

However, I can't help but think that this twice annual Top 50 is a silly indulgence. How can you determine that his number 24 is a better player than say, his number 27. It appears that the all exercise is an attempt by the Herald Sun to fill in the gaps during traditionally slow AFL times such as mid March and early October.

Probably a silly indulgence but his Top 50 creates a lot of debate which means newspaper sales and increased hits on the website. In other words dollars.
