Is MM the new Nicky D ?

One thing our forward line has lacked the last few years is the outrageous flair of Nick Davis. Can Mitch fill his boots or will the Bloods ethos squash his natural flair? I hope he is allowed to play his natural game.

He was going to be delisted. Hence why we got him for pick 79 which is nothing.

Yeah you're right. I'm sure the ladies will come up with a decent nickname for him sometime soon.....

I'm not sure about that, but I am sure I'm enjoying the meltdown on the Tigers board. If nothing else the Walsh and Morton trades have provided some hilarious reading.

It bodes well if the respective fan bases are in an uproar.

Not sure what flair Nicky Daffy had.

If he can play one good quarter of footy and we get a grand final win I'm a fan. Well the thread is he is the new Nick Davis come to save us...

I know I've been hard on him, but geez after listening to Mitch on SEN I feel a little sorry for him. He was quite honest about how he hasn't worked hard enough and the deficiencies in his game. Does anyone know if he was diagnosed with clinical depression this year? That's what comes across when he was talking about his time off. Just seemed relieved that he's got another chance and I really hope he does well. Poor thing.

I like him even more after listening to that ... In reality he could do zilch and we would still lose nothing in the trade because we only gave up a pick we were never going to use. Can only go up from here and he sounds like he really wants to be at the Swans - can't wait to see him in action next year!

Really good, honest interview. If he maintains that sort of honest attitude then I can't see this trade being anything other than a big success for both the club and himself.
