    Jordan Lockyer - Welcome

Lockyer is such a well rounded player it?s hard to find a reason for him going after pick 30. He has good skills, is aggressive, competes well in the air, is a good size and can play anywhere on the ground. The problem for him is that he isn?t the best player at any particular position and that makes him hard to place.

The general school of thought is that he is a very good fullback in the making and will start his career on an AFL list as a third tall either forward or back as the team needs and build into the role of a genuine key position player.

Put Lockyer down for selection between pick 20 and 30 in the draft, whoever gets him has one of the better tall prospects available.

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Good get for us. Maybe a steal.

I remember watching his Dad play at Subi in the early 90's. Solid, dour defender within a good team.

Like the look of JL, he's got a strong presence and has good skills.
Excellent pick up.....along with Alex Brown.... they are both in the mould of Alex Johnson....Here's hoping.

We could go mad and call him Jordan! Oh and, not being one to stir the pot all that much......, anyway, does this mean we have got another eagle away from w.a.? That makes, um, four. One a premiership ruckman, one on his way to being a cult figure, one with unfortunate ankles, and one with pedigree. Not bad really.

Jason Phelan had Lockyer in at no. 23 in his Phantom draft, so hopefully another good pickup for next season.

Did his father not play enough games to qualify as a Wet Toast father-son?
