Yep. Seems 13 wasn't a very popular No. in the early years....the players probably suffered from Triskaidekaphobia.

Going to assume Carter was the best but Schneids was a favourite of mine and I didn't mine McPherson either.

Plugger and Carter, between them they kicked 1361 goals, so it's Rod for best #13 for me.

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

                1. Rocket Rod Carter, 2. Adam Schneider, 3.Graham Dempster(Sean Dempsters dad), 4. Daniel Mc Pherson, 5. Neil Bunton, ..............never did make sense letting our two YOUNGEST Premiership heroes from 2005 cross to St Kilda!!! some may say salary cap problems, but letting the two YOUNGEST go when both had contracts and did not want to leave still irks.

I have a soft spot for Frosty, he wasn't appreciated. He still holds the record for the quickest goal kicked at Telstra/Etihand. 19 seconds. Centrebounce, Paul Kelly, Danny and bang.

Rod Carter, by a fair margin.

Tilt Carter by a streak. I was a big Frosty fan too, but his best footy was played while wearing the 32.

Schneids - honourable mention. When he was on he was a pleasure to watch. 2005 Prelim Final for example.

Interesting point, a lot of players seem to have avoided it. And more recently, there's been more than the normal amount of bad luck associated with the number hasn't there. Veszpremi and Schneider were traded when wearing it (the latters form dipped when he moved to it). Frosty McPherson and Neil Brunton were both underappreciated. As to the best it has to be tilt, maybe his one goal sucked all the luck out of the number?
Perhaps Everitt is damned (and not just by his performances?)
