North East Australian Football League: 2012 NEAFL Draw Released

In essence, 2 more crossover games, 3 games against the new Sydney sides, and hence we only play the Canberra-based teams once throughout the regular season.

12/18 games in Sydney as mentioned above, only 2 games in Canberra, 2 in Brisbane, 1 at the Gold Coast and 1 at Darwin.

10 games are curtain raisers. There's one awkward day (5th May) where the Ressies play at Blacktown at 12pm and then the seniors play at SCG at 7.40pm

Hooray! Glad to be able to see so many reserves games again. Just hope it doesn't rain on match day.

I'm sure we can come up with something creative to do with all this time to plan. Some of it might even be legal.

Just had a proper look at the draw and that game is against Sydney Uni. Very strange.

A fun run from BOP to the SCG?

Also the skoda game against the Giants is the curtain raiser to the Blockbuster between GWS and Port

Fun run to and off the Sydney Uni Team bus.

Mark Williams revenge game should be good one to watch.

Hmm. OK the Ainslie Foxtel Cup game at Blacktown is a curtain raiser to the UWS Giants game. Weird.

I'm a bit sad we have so few games in Canberra, but it can only be good for the footy club that our reserves are getting a few away games like Darwin etc.
