Last year it was at Blacktown (BOP).
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

See attached link. Not listed to be televised. http://www.afl.com.au/nabcup/fixture...7/default.aspx. It appears quite a few NAB cup games not televised.

The lights at BPR are definitely good enough for TV, there's also a pair of newly installed filming towers so I'm not sure why they wouldn't televise it...

I thought it was the same place? All of Sydney's west is the same to me - perhaps I should apply for a job at the AFL???

I would still hope that Fox Footy are telecasting all pre-season games, and that they just haven't fully announced the schedule of round 2 games. As I said earlier I thought they'd committed to showing all pre-season games. I sure hope so as its the best way to get some early season Dream Team research done....

Afl night games require minimum 500 Lux which is what Bruce Purser is. You need 800 Lux to have it televised to the standard of afl matches. So while the ground is ok to play afl night matches it is not bright enough for TV. I googled this from various sources. Blacktown Olympic park has 1500 Lux as a comparison..

I've just had a response to an email I sent to Foxtel - they've confirmed that they wont be broadcasting the round 2 pre-season game at Bruce Purser. As it's 'only' a pre-season game I'm not too bummed, however I hope this sort of thing can be avoided in future.

The real bummer is missing the chance to see some of the newbies and kids get a run and see how they go with the big boys.
