Thanks to The Agent for your report. Could you elaborate on who looked good out there today? Of the newbies are there any stand outs? Just watched the soccer video very cute. I think Smithie was BOG in that segment. Lots of fun and good for agility.

Look it's really hard to be objective when I didn't see the whole session nor do I know who is doing what as far as modified programs go. Goodes, Jack, Kennedy, O'Keefe, Meredith, Heath, White, Reid, Walsh, Pyke, Mumford, Bird, Jetta etc all looked quite good.

Here is a link to the album from yesterday https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...9267.679670038

BTW, I've checked with Real Commando, he is not longer working with the swans so no more updates from him.

I thought about asking, but decided against it.

I would have thought that they specifically contract people like RC to do the pre-season stuff, as that's where the gym-training workload would be highest? So they probably have someone else running it this year?

Maybe the Indian Clubs were deemed to be racist.

Nick Smith went pretty close to collecting Malceski's knee in that soccer game.

I think specialists like Real Commando have a short shelf life. Once the group has learnt his stuff they don't have to get taught again.

I remember reading at the start of the pre-season that the Swans have a new strength and conditioning coach this year. I think RC was specifically brought in by last season's strength and conditioning guru, so it probably isn't a surprise if the new guy has his own ideas on how to do things.

Those Inidan clubs looked to do the goods with only Hanners having issues last year. I hope they keep it up

                            From training yesterday,

the lads are entering into the standard training routine they use during the main season with some sprints, spinning turns etc followed by some end to end kicking drills, stoppage work and what I call the 'get out of gaol' drill (press in attack vs getting ball out of defence).

Good to see Tony Armstrong involved in the main training session and not many off legs at all.

Also good to see Jesse hit the ball hard and contest confidently and strongly. Pyke continues to impress. Campbell Heath continues to show why the club relisted him with another hard workout. Jed Lamb put in a good effort and looked really switched on. Not sure if the club will play O'Keefe this week, he didn't look quite his fluid self but there are still a few days to go.

                              Thanks Matt.

Am I the only one who thinks that Jackson Potter looks unnervingly like Amon Buchannon at times?

Wow, that's a lot of pictures.

JK looks huge as always, and I have this good feeling about Jetta.
