    Bad Goodes

Sydney Swans co-captain Adam Goodes could sit out Saturday's AFL pre-season cup match against North Melbourne after being reported for rough conduct.
Goodes was booked for contact with Geelong's Taylor Hunt and can accept a one-match ban.
But the Cats could be without defender Josh Hunt for two games for a sling tackle on Sydney's Luke Parker.

Goodes was cited for crashing into Taylor Hunt during the second half of the Swans' 16-point loss to the Cats on Friday night.
The incident was assessed as reckless conduct and low impact, meaning Goodes drew an initial penalty of 125 demerit points.
Goodes has 66 points carried over from the past 12 months, which increases the tally to 191 points, just short of a two-game ban.
An early guilty plea would reduce the penalty by 25 per cent to 143.25 points.
Even if Goodes accepts the one-match suspension he will remain eligible to win the Brownlow Medal.

I don't remember Goodsey's indiscretion but having a week off now is no big deal....

Hunt is lucky he only got 2 weeks - it was a pretty bad looking tackle - he's just lucky he got Parker, who is obviously a tough nut... If someone had been carted off maybe he would have gotten 3 or 4 weeks....

Yeah big deal he'll miss a practice game. I think we'll still have north well and truly covered this week anyway without goodesy.

Hunt did to Parker exactly what Mumford did to Ablett..and got three weeks!

And you must have left the tv for a very long cup of tea to miss Goodesy's studs up slide. They replayed it a couple of times too.

Yeah it wasnt great, i doubt he intended it to be malicious but it looked pretty poor and could have caused a bit of damage.

Just a bit of a brain fade really, nothing much in it at all.

Doesn't matter at the end of the day.

(... at the end of the 2012 Brownlow day anyway.)
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
