Hey guys if I was Saints coach I would have bailed too. They have an aging list. Have off field problems that never get better. The Administration is sub-standard at best. The recruiting has been ordinary and for the moment not future. The coach had interference from club insiders. You are never going to be totally in charge at the Saints no matter what assurances a coach gets from the board and management. I would never have gone there in the first place it I were an AFL or Potential AFL Coach.

I don't know, or pretend to know, what goes on at the Aints.
I have no issues with any of Lyons career moves, though if I was a Saints fan I probably would.
But his form does have mercenary traits, which in the caldron of AFL coaching ( pretty much, kill or be killed), is fair enough
My calling Ross Lyon and Freo...'Mr Mercenary and the Purple Haze' was not so much a criticism..... it just had a nice ring to it....that's all.
