Jed will be fine. The kid will make an impact in 2012, even if it's just a handful of games.

Big things on the AFL Official site about Judd and Podsiadly coming back but no Goodes or Reid! So Pies and Adelaide squads also not there.

This article is the same that was in the Herald Sun yesterday and no mention of the players coming back for the Friday Night matches. The SMH/Age had an article about Goodes and Reid coming back but not the other rag or the Official AFL Website. By the way have they got a deal with the Herald Sun because there seem to be a lot of articles from the HS appearing on the AFL Website? Or are the HS so lazy they are just lifting stuff from the AFL and club websites?

Judd and Podsiadly will be playing their first games for the year, so it is noteworthy. Goodes (suspension) and Reid (minor injury) only missed last week, after playing in round 1 of the NAB Cup, so it isn't particularly newsworthy that they are now back.

What I am saying Liz is that none of the Friday night sides in and outs were mentioned in the article which was originally put up on Wednesday. The Herald Sun 'borrowed' most of the article and left out any mention of interstate teams. So there was no mention of any interstate team at all in the HS. All ins and outs for Sat & Sun games given in the AFL Article. Maybe they have another article for Friday games but I haven't seen it. I found the Friday ins and outs in the Sydney Morning Herrald and on the Swans site.

It's pretty common knowledge that the Melbourne print doesn't spend much ink on interstate teams, and fair play to them.

They know their markets to the nearest household, and not many HS's get sold north of the Murray.
On the other hand if they can finagle Collingwood onto their front page, no matter how vague the link to the story, their sales rocket 25=30%..EVERY time

I know what I'd be doing if I was editor.

Essendon up 3.3 to 1.3 after 18 mins.

Dons dominant the last 10 mins.

That was a weak free against Goodes.

Outplayed for most of the quarter. We did quite well to be down by 3.

Mumford on fire in latter part of the quarter, apart from steamrolling LRT.
