Tickets for away matches in the Swans allocation

I saw today that the AFL has the list of on-sale dates for matches available on the website. This led me to thinking about tickets for away matches, as we've already locked in accommodation and flights (combination of frequent flyer and Qantas grounding compo) for the match against West Coast in July. We're also thinking about the Gold Coast and at least one Melbourne match.

Now I know that for Melbourne we just go for general admission tickets, but I remember that the club usually has an allocation of tickets to sell for matches in other cities. While I'm sure that information will get into the eNews in good time, it would be good to know roughly how long before the matches these become available. I'm presuming it's before the general public on-sale date.

I imagine that other interstate newbies* would welcome information about which matches this will happen for, and any other advice about travelling to see the team.

*We're not complete newbies to away games, but so far our experience has been limited to Melbourne (first trip to Melbourne was GF 2005!) and down the road to Manuka.

I've attempted to set up some info in the RWOWIKI about the grounds and advice on getting there.
Unfortunately, it's not as up to date as I'd like. I've done the Melbourne ones.

Sarah from our Melbourne Office has sent through the below information for you in regards to interstate ticketing. If you have any questions, just give us a call.

The Sydney Swans receive a small allocation of tickets for away matches played in Adelaide, Tasmania, Perth and Gold Coast for members to purchase. Tickets generally go on sale 6 weeks out from a game however this is subject to change. When tickets go on sale they can be purchased by logging into your member profile. Under the Optional Extras heading you will find Interstate Ticketing or you can purchase tickets by contacting Member Services. Information regarding the on sale dates will be published in the March Magazine and will be available in the e-news closer to on sale dates. Tickets for the Round 3 match against Port Adelaide in Adelaide are currently on sale.
