25 names. How close do we think this is to the run-on side next week?

So I'm thinking the 22 to play against GWS will come from Saturdays 25 meaning three of this list to miss out. One would obviously be Lamb and probably Cunningham and Everitt. Don't think anyone else of note isn't playing other than the injured guys like ROK and Spangher.
Every player knows a good performance on Saturday is needed to cement a place against GWS.
If Seaby Morton Walsh or White were going to play R1 they would be in the 25 so they are not contenders. The forward set up still looks cobbled together.
The FF/ruck will be Pyke or LRT. Pyke just needs to show a lot more in general play than he did last week.Comment

I'm betting that LRT might play forward this weekend as an audition for a Round 1 spot. It's surprising that Lamb was named in this side given that he's not played in any of the matches so far so he's very unlikely to play in Round 1. In addition, there's the reserves match after where he could have had a run in any case. I thought that last position would have been more useful including one or both of Walsh and White and have them have one last go and claiming a spot.
After asking around I've found out that the side playing on the day will be the standard 22 man squad with 3 interchange and 1 sub. For the second half, a totally new team sheet is submitted meaning the 3 that miss out on the first half can play in the 2nd half.Comment

It does look pretty close to full-strength, though I'm wondering if Morton has been excluded because he's played in every previous game.
I'm sure LRT will probably play up forward but may also get a run as ruck.
Should be interesting game. Suns will smarting after last week. I hope Jack goes head to head with Ablett. The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

after watching the 3 games so far.....I think LRT is still ahead of Pykey, Seaby, Walsh and White in the tall forward and ruck role
plus he can play down back when needed against tall teams etc"be tough, only when it gets tough"

Yes was most happy to see Hannas and Lambchop out there. Looking more like a starting line up for the Giants game I think. So out of this lot come the team for round one. Three to shed. Lamb will probably be shed due to lack of game time but I hope not he's a clever blighter. The 2nd ruck looks to be out of Pyke and LRT. Then there was one and it will be out of Everitt and Cunningham probably.Comment

Seaby did a few good things by getting loose but not so good in the pack situation and definitely not a great tackle. The least mobile of all.
Walsh doesn't seem to have shown a lot but did some good body work and Horse played him back to give him a taste of it back there.
LRT only played back so don't know his current forward status.
Jesse was a bit disappointing but did a few good things. I still think he hangs back waiting for things to happen too much.Comment

lamb, everitt and cunningham to miss next week.can only be improved by inclusion of o'keefe and possibly spanger when fit.the new boys haven't done enough to deserve inclusion.will be watching the progress of mitchell and armstrong as the season continuesforgotten 1996

I will be going 707 but I am not on twitter and my phone is not great on the net. I will make a report when I get home but I am certain a few of the RWO people will already be home an hour before I get home.Comment

Will this be Jed Lambs for hitout for the year ? He was named on fox sports website in the squad. Hope to hear some good reports from those in attendance about his performance, granted he will most likely be quite underdone.Comment
