    Schneider???

Anyone know when this man is out of contract with the saints.
Only reason I'm asking this is that the saints of 2012 reminds me of us in 2008, trying in vain for one more tilt at the title with the ageing list before offloading many senior/experienced players and bottoming out and rebuilding with kids(I know we didnt do that but its seems to be the norm with many sides).
Schneider could be one player they decide to delist. I've always liked him and he's been doing well at the saints. Wouldn't mind seeing him back in the red and white....without the black.

I'd love to see him back where he belongs in Red and White.

Lovely thought but I think a bit retro. Sneiderman was really great for us and very good for the Saints but is now getting to the end of his career. We need to look at developing a young dynamic premiership team not topping up.

Ow. Schneider is coming to the end of his career? Just not right. Problem is he still looks like a kid, and he isn't.

        I'm getting old.

I think the saints are past it now, their last real tilt at it was last year IMO and they lost to Port??? Schneids could easily slot back into the forward line though.

Do we need someone like him? If anything to add some experience for a year to our fwd line but apart from that no.

I don't think we should have traded him in the first place, but he and McGlynn are very similar sorts of players.

Not a chance. I'm sure they'll try and loose a few players, but I think that will come from trading some of their quality for younger talents. Schneider may as well be one of those, but it is wishful, illogical thinking to believe he could ever be delisted this year.

Yes, neither of them have a reputation for hitting targets.

McGlynn puts in an effort week in week out, something Schneider had trouble with in Sydney.
Very grateful for his 2005 efforts and always will be but no need for sentimentality.

When Schneider was at the club I had 2 interactions with him that suggested to me that the Saints were the perfect team for him. I would imagine he's grown up since he was with us but the Swans need to look forward and not backward so it's a no from me.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
