Is it just me? My enjoyment of a pie has an inverse relationship with the quality of the ingredients. It is a pie afterall and I was raised to not analyse, or even question, the contents of said pie. I think that fancy schmantzy pies are unAustralian and the contents of the pie should only vaguely slightly resemble something that once was a living breathing animal. The most important thing with eating a pie at the footy is that at least some oozes out onto your scarf and/or Footy Record and that you spill at least some of your beer whilst trying to eat, drink, cheer and fend of some kid with those annoying clapper thingies....

That was the on going argument at my last job in braeside, ivans vs molly's. I was in the Molly camp. But either way spoiled for choice.

Let's also not forget the temperature of said pie. You can guarantee that if the pie is Luke warm at best you will only have a few crumbs to worry about and maybe a bit of sauce, however, on the rare occasion that it's piping hot you can guarantee that not only will you burn the roof of your mouth, a peice of it will drop off and end up either on your shirt, or worse, down ones abyss (aka cleavage) and trust me thats not a pleasant experience.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
