Sorry the above was a bit off topic - if this crappy weather keeps up, it should benefit us this Sunday. The team that is - not me, I'll be getting wet in the O'Reilly Concourse....Comment

If its wet I hope the players all know the new rule about sliding (in case some one gets in the way)Comment

His early season form hasn't been the best, but he is a classy player, and a big one that North now no longer have to worry about. But I think its a good test for our team to try and win what will be a tough game without him. I'd hazard a guess and say our record without him (I have no idea but just a feeling) is actually quite reasonable, and the most promising thing is that it has been in the most part the young guys that have really stood up so far this year. But we will need the senior guys to lift and help lead without Goodesy in the team.
I hope Morton doesn't come in for him... he was positively awful in my opinion for the reserves on the weekend."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Goodes has played 200 something games consecutive, don't know the exact number, but if u watch the port game the commentators mention it, so it's hard to say how we'll go without him. The thing I have noticed about Adam this year is that he is having more trouble getting down to the ball on the ground, bending, as it were, hence the sliding in i guessYou can't argue with a sick mind - Joe WalshComment

Brad Scott is certainly happy about Goodes' absence, and refreshingly honest about it.

I have not proof, but from memory he hasn't been that dominant against them.Comment

You do have the proof if you're prepared to look Scott. Go back over the TLM results of games v Norf over the past 5 years.
You have until 5pm to produce a report on this task.

I agree Scott. Certainly Hanners carved them a couple of years back, but can't remember Goodes having blinders.
