        Ahhhhhh, those where the days!!!!

I remember being a teenager back then and putting my school homework on hold for a couple of hours every 2nd Sunday afternoon to watch on TV my swans play the only VFL(apologies but that was what it was back then) game on that day. All the other fixtures were played on Saturday afternoon.

        My how football has changed.

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

The same bloke has been a board member and terrific supporter of the Swans since the beginning. I'll cut him some slack, even though most would be thinking along Wardy's lines, with good reason.

Surely, the editor must have laughed when they put that quote in there (and dont call me Shirley)

Hand on my heart. Swear on my mother's grave. God be my witness. I was at that game standing on the hill.

I was there, too Swansongster. I grew up as a bomber supporter but had my South membership paid for by the SFL when I played for Pennant Hills. I was then given a voting form to vote for them to relocate and received my key ring membership medallion in the mail. It used to allow me into the Maroubra Seals for free as well - bargain! I made sure I was there at the first match but I was still a bomber supporter - it only took a few years for my IQ to raise and become a passionate Swan, though.

I can honestly say without word of a lie I wasn't anywhere near the SCG that day. Probably playing my Duran Duran albums and playing games on my Commodore 64.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
