Woo - long time no see!
And yes couldn't agree with you more. The depths of despair for one and complete joy for another.

I spoke with him at length at the Redback Cocktail party and Tony is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to be playing at Sydney (and coming home to his family).

        Kudos.
        He's a tops kid.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I can't find the link (from AFL photos?) but there is a BRILLIANT photo of him coming down the race after the game - epitomizes the excitement and pride he has in this club after just one game ... Photo is currently my phone wallpaper haha

              Thanks Magic.M.

Tony has good reason to celebrate. I think the only other swan who I've ever seen come out of their first game so excited, was Fitzy. He had a ripper debut.

              (Ohhhhhh. Fitzy!)

(Hate to say it, but Goodesy didn't look too happy at the end of the singing of the club song. mmmmmmmmmmm. Regrets maybe?)

I recently met Tony. He is a really nice guy with a friendly personalty. Not many people realise that he was born and bred in the Sydney metropolitan area, and supported the Swans as a kid.

Yes nothing can replace true passion for your club because it is infectious. Every player within range went to him after he kicked his goal and there was real excitement. That is special and with the special talent we have to have that sort of excitement is special! I said some weeks ago the excitement of the youngsters when wee kicked a goal was fab but it is now everyone who is excited and with Tony it was even more animated. I get the feeling the lad is pretty popular.

He missed out on a great win so I'd hope he'd be a little peeved. I'd be concerned if he wasn't. Hopefully he is sufficiently annoyed to tear the Hawks a new one on Sunday. (legally of course)

So does that backline now read

                      9 NicMal
                      19 Tony
                      29 Marty
                      39 Reg?

                      or is it my imagination!

So THAT was Armstrong ? I was thinking Mgic looks younger but shorter after the lay-off

Nickname : Neil ? Or as Alex has suggested : Satchmo ?
