I watched the foxtel channel that had the same coverage as channel 7 but no ads after every single goal. So much better having it uninterrupted. They didn't show the cup being presented or the song either though. You can bet your money however that if it was the pies or blues playing and they won, the news would wait for the presentation at the very least. It's quite disheartening.

In Sydney it wasn't on the main channel, but 7MATE. Could have easily delayed a re-run of 'That's 70s Show' to give us the song.

Most games I've seen on ch 7 show the song in the rooms after the game. Although I do understand it was obviously later due to the presentation and it would have run over further. But it's still disappointing not to be able to see any of that at all.

No. It was a huge issue last year and still is.

Yep. Started last year. Given there was a presentation after the game that would have been nice to see.

The poblem with 7 is that at times they are over extended, covering afl games when the V8's are on, iy seems the 2 sports have been scheduled so we can see them both o tv, hence the late start to the Swans game, well, that's on thing anyway, the actual football coverage is pretty ordinary, and as I said on another thread, I miss the ten coverage or one HD whatever u want to call it. At least Quarterbrain called the game and didn't try to put on a comedy act
