Bought the DVD of this match because it was unavailable anywhere, decided to upload the best bit to youtube. I enjoyed this match moreso than the SF v Geelong and even the GF where I was just paralysed by nerves the whole game.

Jeez we were a @@@@ing good side and how special was that quarter? The sheer will of the midfield, the direct play, use of the corridor, man on man stuff. Just a moment where we had to step up and boy did we release the shackles. Our classic tempo footy: defend, defend, defend, OBLITERATE WITH A RAIN OF GOALS. People go on about the Davis vs. Geelong game, but this was the defining moment of our campaign. Nobody gave us a chance.
It's a bit self-indulgent but that Hawthorn game we just played in is a little reminiscent. It was one-on-one, our midfield lifted incredibly and we just kept pushing the ball forward. Listen to the comments at the end of the video: 'They have absolutely smashed the Saints out of the middle this quarter. The Swans haven't got big names in the middle, but they are a very close unit and very well coached.' That could have been said about us on Sunday.
I love seeing symmetry with our premiership side.
It's a bit outlandish but maybe 2010, 2011 and 2012 is our 2003, 2004, 2005. The romantic in me really hopes so. West Coast is up there too!
