AFL 360 I must be dreaming

We are being praised like crazy by Gerard & Robbo - I'll enjoy it while it lasts ;-) but I still would like for us to fly under the radar a bit for another few rounds, then we can get a bit excited.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I find Robbo to be a bit of a tool. He's basically saying hawthorn laid down. Whateley is countering they were simply beaten by a better team. ......I'd like to be under the radar more too but what can you do, people at work are more excited then me. I'm trying to keep the lid on it. They won't stop talking about how good we are! Shut upppppppp! It's round 5! Tell me that in round 22!

        Where's the fun in that??

As long the players don't get ahead of themselves I think it's fine for the media and supporters to get excited about the club.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I sent Robbo a couple of twitters about how the Melbourne media never take us seriously, how everytime we beat a top side its only because the other team 'lost' the game. The AFL article on the Top 5 points out of the game said it all - every point was about Hawthorn. Ha!

But i told him i like that in a way. We dont need them and its always more enjoyable to be the underdog for me. Under promise and over deliver in a way. Its more satisfying and suits our culture to go about our business without the hooplah.

It's good for the Club from a corporate perspective though.

The thing I liked Gerard saying most was that the Swans are a better team. Not 'were better on the day', but 'a better team'. Outright. Period.

I know Al, don't get me wrong I am excited, I'm just trying to hide it as I have this feeling as soon as i become openly boyish about our prospects it will all unravel! Silly I know but I can't Help it. We are playing beautifully though and I am very proud of our boys. Go Bloods!

This !!! I know how you feel. My managing director (who's a mad North supporter) came up to see me today and even he was excited about us beating the Hawks! (mind you we didnt hear a peep out of him last week ;-))

also got a great run on on the couch. Interesting to hear Roosy didn't talk to the players after the game because he was worried about what he might say in the heat of the moment

That's fair enough MB. I completely understand that.

I'm not superstitious at all except when it comes to footy. Some of the things are too ridiculous too list here but one is, I can't tape or IQ a Swans live game. Silly stuff!!

I like whateley, funny moment when Robbo started talking about different reactions to being hit. I think most people would like them to have a fist fight.
