i dont mean to have a go at goodes, but seriously go off when you cant run. really good effort from all of them. everitt impacted the contest reasonably hard, but in an unhelpful manner. every time he spoiled it was a swan he spoiled. just bad luck seriously. but thats footy i guess.

Disappointing defeat but Crows will be a finals contender, nothing to get too depressed about

LRT -> White next week would be good, hopefully Goodes injury is minor, and actually won't criticise Everitt tonight as it would have been pretty tough coming on as sub in a game like that.

Would like to see Morton or TDL in sooner rather than later as we are dying for a natural forward

I don't think we can fault the effort. Crows didn't fade as I thought they would, but, well, we had our chances to win that and just didn't get there. No one said we would go undefeated this year and this game shows that the lack of a big forward will hurt us against some sides. After Goodes went off we didn't look too flash forward. The Crows ability to kick those long goals hurt us badly, most teams miss those. Still if we had started better.......

by the way roos really annoyed me in commentary tonight. what was that excuse he came up with - every team who played hawthorn struggled the week later. pathetic.

reid is struggling really badly. and without goodes there to take a good defender for the next few weeks things could get really ugly.

our first quarter hacking into the forward line for the last two weeks is really costing our team. just bad coaching to set up the same way again .
