What about giving AJ a run in the forward line and putting LRT back where he belongs.
Bring in White and TDL for Goodes and Everitt.
So the forward line would look like.

    FF : McGlynn, White, TDL
HF : AJ, Reid , Okeefe

LRT to backline and AJ to the forward line is not a bad idea, even if only to give a real honest contest and adding to the forward pressure. If AJ produces the same quality up forward then watch out. It means that Reg could replace the AJ run from defence. I did notice that Adelaide seemed did pull AJ further back in defence and somewhat negated his ability to get loose off half back. He and Mal seemed to be getting their free ball way back in defence.

LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

Why not move Reg into the forward line? He reads the play better than most, and might be best equipped for the quick kick inside 50

It might be lateral thinking but it won't be lateral movement!

Circa 2009-2011 maybe, not 2012 Reggi.

You don't give him enough credit for his improvement this year which can almost certainly be put down to being over the foot injury that not only crippled his previous years, killed his pre-seasons which were even more of a factor in his 'treacleness'...

Cotchin is a great matchup for him imo...

Nah tipping we will be watching him miles of the pace on the MCG he could not get near Selwood on Etihad

I think Everitt needs a better run, he was good after half time against Hawthorn, chopping and changing him, really does not let him build form

Given it is the MCG probably TDL is a better option

Bird was exceptional against Hawthorn and that was played on a pretty sizeable ground.

When have we played any of the Selwoods at Etihad?

SEN this morning Kennedy was asked about how we are to replace goodes.

replied along the lines of in this order:

"Maybe someone like Jesse, Jesse White or Tommy Walsh or Morton."

White is the obvious choice, but had a poor reserves game. Walsh and Morton had good reserves games, but its a first for both.

I think they will play safe and get white in.

The White v LRT debate is tricky. I think White really is better for our forward structure, but having LRT allows us to have a backup key defender. Our backline has been great, but always looks fragile to me.

I'm keeping White in my supercoach team until thursday. If he's not selected this week, I'm trading him out.
