Jets is a weapon for us now. Lots of people had doubts after last year (me included), but he just had one good pre-season and now he is seriously playing classy, smart football. I'm really pleased about his development.

I thought Lewis Jetta was actually our best player last night. He seems to have very good vision and his disposal is very good too. He tackled and also shepherded for his teammates and kicked some goals.

very impressive last night. You could see when Goodes went off that he seemed to be determined to win the game on his own..

I really like him, I hope he plays for us forever..

Someone told me that during the pre-season Jetta had to be Kieran Jack's shadow and do everything at training he did. If it is true then I reckon this could explain why he's toughened up so much and in such a short amount of time. He now gets in there and seeks the footy instead of waiting for it to come to him as he did previous years, and he now isn't afraid of tackling. I doubted him for quite a while but reckon Jetta's really done the hard yards, particularly in terms of his attitude.

I thought he was excellent last night, but it was not till I looked at the stats when I got home did I realise just how good he was. Maybe his real watershed game last night.

And that tackle - absolutely superb!

A fantastic tackle, a superbly accurate kick under pressure to a marking ROK inside 50 (and resulting goal), brilliant dashes with the ball that had everyone at the Rising Sun yelling encouragement, great snaps at goal (if only that last one had gone through the big sticks). An excitement machine, Jetta has fast become one of my favourite players.

didnt Cyril kick 5 today ?

no matter - because I am absolutely loving watching Jetts.......he dug deep against the Crows and it was in fact almost his kick that made the difference.

Not withstanding his defence and attack leading up to the final qtr - which was brilliant !!

As one of those out of my seat I completely agree! The roar from the crowd was electric.

Every time he gets the ball, esp with open space ahead of him, the crowd roars. I haven't heard that sort of instant excitement since Plugger led into obviously open space.

From home as well. He he has being bringing shrieks of delight from my kids every time he touches the ball. They are so excited about going to see him in the flesh this coming weekend.

                            That is just great.

Like the other posters before me, I'm also an 'up and outa the seat' kinda guy when Jets puts on the afterburners. It's great to see that the Melb based fans are excited to see him live, especially the kids. The wide expanses of the MCG wing should be made for him, let's hope he puts on a real show...

I'm proud to say I've never, ever doubted Jets.
I was soooooooo happy when he was named to join us; and have been very happy ever since.
                              He's a gun.
                              I L.O.V.E. him.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Why is it that a single player can turn us into screaming fools. We don't roar with NicMal (well I do , but that's another story), not with Jude, nor any other player for the last ten years like we do for Jetts. Maybe its the anticipation.

Plugger, well we knew what was going to happen. Baz we kind of roared for when he was totally on song. Did we roar for MickyO?

                                We roared for Kell.

Maybe its running like the wind that brings out the roar. Red Rooster had us going too.

So its not the kicks, not the hand balls, not really even the goals every time, its running like your feet don't hit the ground. (hmm, just saw the hole in this argument. Plugger and MickyO and Baz).
