I am upset by the loss tonight but I want to remind people that we all follow the same side. I think on this forum sometimes that gets lost. I love the Swans, my grandfather played in the Red & White in Broken Hill and even though I was brought up a Robin (red & black) not a Swan I loved my grandfather and respected him. I think we have the start of a very good era at the Swans but we are going through a transition period.

We used to be this team that had heaps of guts and determination as well as defensive pressure but very little in the way of real talent. I think we are turning into a very different team which has real and diverse talent and I don't know if the Coaching Staff know how to use it! Clarko said "If you have real talent you play it and work out the problems later" when referring to Franklin, riolli and a few of his other wayward stars. I agree with him get a Premiership first and think of the consequences later!

By the way I would like to thank the Resies watchers who go through hell to get all the details of the 2's to us every week. I would love to take this time to thank Liz, Scott, Al, Ugg, Gong Swan and all the other wonderful people who put this together. I want to donate but I am a pensioner and wondered if it was possible to donate something like $5/fortnight!

Wolfie as much as I enjoy your input here I honestly think you're putting too much faith in our Reserves players. Our improvement has to come from the majority of our current 22. None of the guys in the Reserves are going to play more than bit-parts unfortunately.

If our premiership window is to be opened we need improvement from the whole squad. Our best 22 due to young nature of our side is IMO a fluid thing. Whose to say Nipper, Morton and Walsh won't be playing out of their skins by years end and in our best 22. The coaches know we need more fire power in the forward line and these 3 are being groomed to do just that.

The boys do kind of stand out; being small and stocky(ish) and "doing" stuff. The Watchers generally note when they are up and about. Although They may be a problem; recently it is only He. We don't get much background info on the toppies, so can you fill us in? One injured or Out?

Everitt needs to go, weak, no contest, no run, no tackle. Our problem is who do we slot in?
Up until yesterday I was prepared to cut Everitt some slack, but gee he was ordinary. I see the point you are making but Morton was recruited it appears as a forward, and from what I have seen is far more mobile than Everitt, is probably going to present on leads and has a lot more footy smarts.

Parker was playing well in the resies before moving up and is now a regular.
players need to be given a chance to impress.

I would of thought either Walsh, if they want a big body. Or Nipper if they want more run.
I agree with others , it's time for Pyke to replace Seaby.

If LRT is in next week we can include Morton for those reasons. Dropping Everitt has to happen but it leaves us a tall short. I think morton vs TDL or Morton vs mcglynn is a more realistic comparison
