Commentary: What do I have to do to get Channel Seven's Attention

Honestly, the footy commentary for the Swans/Melbourne game was draining. Drone on and on and on, airing their lungs and not about the game at hand. I am ashamed that Paul Roos can be so awful. He still in his way represents the Swans. So many exciting bits of play totally ignored by him droning on and on about what is not happening. Snatch and grab and away down the field and it is not even noted!!

Shut up shut up shut up!!!!!

There is an old game on the tv right now, and the commentators are excited about it, they are enjoying themselves, and carrying me along with it. They are not interrupting the game highlights by talking about complicated issues on the horrors of coaching. Get over yourselves; even the unfunny Dennis and Bruce show is better (did I just say that!!! I must be desparate).

One of the rare occassions that I disagree with you Primms. I thought the commentary was accurate and interesting. Pickering can be a bit annoying at times but even he was okay in the call.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Primmy, in this instance it's not Ch 7 you need to get the attention of. Our game was covered by Fox Footy, so if you have any gripe with the commentators, you'd need to take it up with Fox.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I was about to say the same thing. It wasn't a channel 7 game....otherwise I would have been able to watch it.

I'm still getting over the huge amount of footy we're getting on free to air this year in Sydney. My Friday nights, with the game live on 7Mate, has become.......dare I say........SPECIAL......
