Matty Mattner - well done on 200!

Here is a player who goes out each week and gives it all for the bloods. He never gets enough credit and i think this week we should be congratulating him yet there isn't a thread about him.

Apart from the odd clanger here ant there, especially when trying to take a man on and getting pinged for HTB, Matty has never annoyed me whilst watching him. His quick rebounds have been great to watch and so have been his penetrating left foot kicks. His tackles stick most time and so do his spoils.

Well done on reaching 200 Matty, 102 for the bloods and 98 for the crows.

Excellent thread. He is Mr 1% er. I don't think a game goes by where he doesn't back into a pack and get smashed. But he bounces back up every time and gets on with the job. Lunging spoils to help out his teammates, superman tackles, smothers, this guy does the team things week in week out. Well done Marty, your a true champion, and you typify the Bloods spirit. If everyone plays as hard as Marty this week ( minus the aforementioned changers) , then we'll go a long way to winning the game this week.

He played his 100th swans game a few weeks ago.

I'm just thigh slapping happy that there is one Swans player that hasn't annoyed him.

^ if that happened with Marty it wouldn't matter. He'd deliver the baby himself from the sidelines, rip off the sub vest, wrap the baby in it, kiss his Mrs on the cheek and run on to make a match winning tackle.
