Good post Wolfy. Looking from Level 3 one could have been forgiven for thinking that we had turned back the clock to the Eade era. The ultra flood where all our players were back was rather Rodneyesque. Whether that was because our forwards allowed themselves to be sucked down the ground or it was a strategy, it looked horrible. In the second quarter St Kilda had 3 players at the back of the centre and we kept kicking to them. So St Kilda had 3 less players in their forward line but still applied enormous pressure to keep the ball in.

I only saw it on TV Nico but it looked ugly. So Longmire panicked? The only time you use the flood is when you can't think of anything else to do. Again in the papers Horse is saying he has no idea why we played so badly. Team balance might be a start Horse! I am uneasy when the coach is continually baffled! You'd think he would be hands on and cluey enough to know how his players are thinking or feeling and how to use that. Mick M is a great communicator and he engages his players all the time, having a chat as they walk past his office etc. I get the feeling thaty horse doesn't work that way. Lethal was the same as Mick and so was Blight and I bet Roos was too.

        This is how it looked...

Man, if we could just have got it over the top to that guy in yellow we'd be away!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

Well I listened to the game in the car radio on the way to SKODA. I stopped listening when I got out of the car and looked at the score on my phone after that. Very sad.

So LRT has gone from looking like Iron Man to the Tin Man. Big Macca turned into a kids meal without the toy.

Grundy losts his undy's and spent all night looking for them. Marty missed out on his party and at least a Sydney born player called Lenny took the spot light last night.

Tommy didn't trouble the scoreboard and hot diggity damn, Jesse and Andrejs weren't playing.

Looks like a quick drop out of the 8 for the boys. Doggies next week and the Hird horrors after that. The Essendon cheer squad spell out their name and carried on over a team they should have beat by 100 points last night. Hate to think the pleasure they will get when they face the Swans.

Hot Chips at SKODA were $3.90 and the meat pies leave the big place at Homebush and SCG for dead. Better than Mumma makes.

On last night's performance GWS will be the No 1 Sydney team within 3 years once those young boys are old enough to shave.

Not stirring the pot here as its spinnin on it's own ingredients.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

I saw about 3 out of the 22 players actually apply themselves like they gave a rats. They expected to beat the saints and didnt show them respect. This is an even comp you cannot carry players, we tried to carry at least 14 players yesterday. How many stupid handballs to flat footed people or ring a ring a roseys back and forth while 3-4 saints pressure us. That was bloody pathetic and not good enough. The handball behind a player running forward stands out to me, that was rubbish. The game was played all day in one 50. Though having said that I felt the first quarter showed what we could do if we worked hard, we are a better side than the saints IMHO, but we cannot avoid to put that sort of effort in. Every player in the side should be bloody ashamed. We have a chance in an even year to compete for a flag, but rubbish like that we will be lucky to make the 8. I expect us to be pumped up againt the dogs, and we need to come down here and smash essendon, as their fans are the most arrogant pricks on the planet and I seem to be surrounded by the flogs.

                        Yesterday was un sydney like

Sorry, I can't agree with you. Hawthorn are the biggest flogs by a country mile followed by North. St Kilda are the biggest umpire whingers at a game as everytime one of their players goes near the footy they think it is a free.

Looked pretty ordinary on TV with all 36 players in the same shot when it's a close up of the action.

Essendon are chronic umpire whingers, worse than St Kilda IMO

Yes but how many millions of dollars did the AFL spend on getting those $3.90 chips to you????
