Not sure when they finalise their reviews, but watching the Melb v Ess game both live and in replay ( I love watching those filthy #####s lose), Paddy Ryder definitely stuck out the leg and tripped (not sure who it was). Be very interested to see if he gets a holiday.

Could be a bonus for us if he was given a week or two.

Those staging performances belonged on home and away, they were THAT bad, maybe they are looking at life after footy and hoping for an acting career, dreadful, should get suspended for bad acting, never mind the actual staging charge, what about bringing the game into disrepute thru bad acting

Yes, I saw the incident and wondered the same thing!!!

Will have to wait and see if the MRP ping him or not, but it would be a bonus for us if Ryder wasnt playing, especially now that we have Mumford back fit and firing.

Staging should cop a suspended sentence with a week suspension, no pleas, if they re-offend. That will stop them. Fining them has about as much impact as throwing cream puffs at the town hall.

Patrick Ryder, Essendon, has been charged with a level one tripping offence against Dan Nicholson, Melbourne, during the first quarter of the Round 10 match between Essendon and Melbourne, played at the MCG on Saturday June 2, 2012.

In summary, he can accept a reprimand and 66 points towards his future record with an early plea.

Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Melbourne Football Club, the incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). This is a total of four activation points, resulting in a classification of a level one offence, drawing 80 demerit points and a reprimand. He has an existing bad record of one match suspended within the last three years, increasing the penalty by 10 per cent to 88 demerit points and a reprimand. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 66 points towards his future record.

Ben McGlynn Sydney Swans, has been charged with a level two striking offence against Patrick Veszpremi, Western Bulldogs, during the first quarter of the Round 10 match between the Sydney Swans and the Western Bulldogs, played at the SCG on Sunday June 3, 2012.

In summary, due to his poor record, his sanction must remain as a one-match penalty, even with an early plea.

I remember seeing Vesz down on his knees and then McGlynn give him a shove as he tried to get up, I didn't catch what happened before hand though. After he got up he looked pretty winded or as if he copped one in the family jewels.
