I love Eddie Maguire's enthusiastic recommendation of Malthouse as next coach of Carlton.

McGuire said Malthouse would be the perfect fit at Carlton. ''Is he good at pulling teams together? He's magnificent at doing that. Is he a coach that's still relevant? Yep, absolutely, no doubt about that,'' McGuire said.

I guess for Eddie, it's one back on Mick as well as the joy of sticking it to Gregg Swann and Carlton.
